Amazing place with great amenities like free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and an electric kettle. Staff were kind to my elderly parents during our first stay. I highly recommend it! I'm coming back for Christmas.

Very helpful and friendly staff, great central but quiet location, comfortable bed, no noise from neighbour's television.
Hotel has sinister contract with one expensive taxi company meaning staff were not allowed to provide me with minicab phone numbers. Price was high, but probably so are those of all good London hotels (and probably many bad ones)

I liked best the retro style of the hotel, especially the fireplace in my room.
The wind goes trough the windows, even when they are closed.

Location
No minibar, no water. Everything a little older and musty

Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. One of the best nights sleep I've had in a London hotel due to its quiet location.

Quirky hotel in a new building with beautiful views onto the garden. Location adjacent to tubes, Covent Garden and the tube and a quiet suburb near a lovey park that has a great cafe.

great stay but minor issues with room maintenance
Staying here was pleasant as I found the staff attentive and. I greatly enjoyed the quiet surroundings of the hotel close to cultural attractions like the British Museum.
The room maintenance could be improved as I noticed a couple of small issues that needed attention.

Large size room
Not really a 4 star hotel. A reasonable three star. Service was inflexible. Breakfast slow and then wasn't what we ordered. Our room was under the hard floor of a kitchen/breakfast room and there was noise of furniture and walking from about 5:30 am.

Great location and spacious room!
I stayed in a standard double studio for 2 nights and was surprised by how big and comfy the room was! Loved having a kitchenette, even though I didn't ask for it. Location is spot-on, near buses, British Museum, and some fab breakfast spots.
